Prosthodontics is the branch of dentistry that deals with the following
(a) Replacement of missing teeth
(b) Bridge, Dentures
(c) Restorative treatments
(d) Cosmetic treatments
CROWNS
During the crown procedure, a modeled impression of the tooth is taken to fabricate the final crown. A fitted crown is is created and temporarily placed while the final restoration is being made. Dental crowns may also be used to provide extra support for dental bridges.
BRIDGES
Dental bridges are commonly used when a patient has lost one or more teeth. They are called bridges because they consist of replacement teeth to bridge gap that was created when the original teeth became lost. We custom design each component of a dental bridge to ensure that it looks natural
DENTURES
Dentures are sets of artificial teeth set into a plastic framework that rests directly on gums. For those who have several missing teeth and whose teeth are’nt strong enough to support a bridge, a partial denture is used. Full denture replaces all the teeth in a jaw and fits directly on the gums and supporting bone
